Hi Everyone! I am the full time Fitness Manager in the Fitness Centre. Coming from a multi-sport background and competing at the provincial and national level for basketball, I know all about the challenges, victories, and pains when it comes to Fitness and Health.
 
Living a holistically healthy life is a continuous journey and it's my goal to help others live that as best as possible. I would love to get to know each of you more so please come say hi!

Her teaching style is characterized by gentle movements, embracing the essence of slow and deliberate transitions. Lauren understands the importance of respecting each student's unique physicality and emotional needs, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all participants. Her classes are a peaceful sanctuary, where students can escape the stresses of everyday life and find balance both on and off the mat.

Juli Best

Pilates Instructor

Pilates Certified: Classical & Contemporary
 

Juli has been immersed in the Pilates world since 2011, when she began her own practice to address compromised lumbar spinal strength. Through consistent training, she developed strong core stability, fell in love with the method, and pursued extensive education so she could share her knowledge with others.
She holds both Classical and Contemporary Pilates certifications and has studied a variety of fascia-focused modalities, deepening her understanding of the body’s connective tissue systems. These insights are thoughtfully woven into her classes to enhance the overall movement experience.
Outside of class, when she’s not dreaming up creative ways to inspire her students, Juli enjoys exploring new places and making lasting memories with family and friends —always seeking adventure, near and far.

My group fitness journey began with strollercise classes in 2014 when my daughter was a toddler. I fell in love with the energy and the enthusiasm that the instructors brought to the workout and I loved how much fun it was to get sweaty and learn new things alongside other people. Group fitness allowed me to challenge myself, get stronger, and make new friends at the same time. I became a group fitness instructor in 2018 and have since added cycle, mind/body, and pre-postnatal exercise to my certifications. I truly believe that movement is medicine and especially love teaching adults to feel good in their bodies and to find a sense of silliness and play through exercise.
